Description
This is Heddon’s smaller version of the legendary Zara Spook, designed to work in shallow water and around cover where a full-size topwater might be overkill. At 1/4 ounce, it’s light enough to cast on medium tackle and creates that distinctive side-to-side wobble when you work it with short, steady rod twitches. The Bone finish reflects light well in clear water and matches natural baitfish profiles, making it effective early and late in the day. You’ll get the best results working it slowly over shallow grass beds, around dock pilings, and along drop-offs where bass are hunting near the surface. Like all Spooks, it demands an engaged angler—this isn’t a cast-and-reel lure.
