Campbell and Culpepper families
Back Forty Outdoors, located on the edge of the Mississippi Delta in Grenada, Mississippi, was founded in 2022 by the Campbell and Culpepper families. Mike and Jay, who started as friends over 6 years ago, decided one December night that it was time to become business partners and share their obsession for the outdoors and for Mississippi hunting with North Mississippi. What started as a dream for both Jay and Mike quickly became a reality early in 2022.
A 17,000 square foot beautiful retail space was erected on 5 acres at the edge of Grenada overlooking the Delta. Even the name Back Forty originated from one of their favorite nicknamed hunting locations! Since opening, Mike and Jay’s mission has been to offer the outdoor enthusiast everything needed for an enjoyable outdoor experience while providing exceptional customer service.
