The Super Spook Jr is Heddon’s proven topwater design scaled down to a size that works year-round in shallow water and around grass beds. At 1/2 ounce, it’s light enough to fish over submerged cover without snagging, yet heavy enough to cast a reasonable distance and keep your cadence smooth. The Spectrum finish is a holographic treatment that throws flash at dawn and dusk when fish are feeding shallow. You’ll work this lure with short, rhythmic rod twitches to make it walk side to side across the surface—the classic topwater presentation that triggers reaction strikes from aggressive fish. Effective on lakes, reservoirs, and slow rivers where you’re targeting the shallows early and late.
