The RT Menace Grub has been a go-to choice for bass anglers working shallow cover and deeper structure because of its realistic swimming action and durable plastic. At 4 inches, it’s substantial enough to throw on a heavier jig head or rig on a Texas rig with confidence, but still small enough to appeal to panfish and smaller bass. The Watermelon Red colorway is a natural baitfish pattern that produces year-round. You’ll throw it on the back of a jig for flipping into brush and matted vegetation, rig it on a shakey head for a more subtle presentation, or Texas rig it on a 3/8- to 1/2-ounce weight to cover water along shallow ledges and drop-offs.
