Description
At 10.5 inches, this is a bulky worm that displaces water and triggers reaction strikes from bass holding tight to cover. The Old Monster has a thick body with a distinctive tail design that creates subtle vibration on the fall and during slow presentations—ideal when you’re working shallow grass mats, cypress trees, or laydown timber. The nine-bag package gives you plenty of backups since soft plastics inevitably tear or get snagged. Blackberry is a dark, realistic color that performs well in stained water or when bass are keyed on dark crawfish and bluegill. Rig it on a 4/0 or 5/0 offset worm hook and work it methodically in the thickest cover you can reach.
