Description
At 3/8 ounce, this jig carries enough weight to reach deeper zones and hold bottom in moderate current without being so heavy that it loses the finesse action that makes lighter jigs effective. The compact head design keeps the profile tight, working well around cover and in sparse vegetation where a smaller, more lifelike profile makes the difference. PB & J is a proven combination in Southern waters—the purple body catches attention while the tan skirt suggests crawfish or baitfish in low-visibility conditions. Fish it on a light spinning rod with a small plastic trailer for a natural bottom-crawling presentation, or work it vertically over structure.
