The Mayfly is a compact soft plastic that moves with natural finesse on a 1/64 or 1/32 oz jig head, making it deadly on crappie, bluegill, and perch in ponds, creeks, and shallow lake structure. The Electric Chicken color pops in stained water and low-light conditions, and the thin body and tapered tail keep the action subtle and lifelike even on slower presentations. At 2 1/4 inches, it’s sized right for panfish that key on small baitfish and insects without being so large you lose the delicate swimming action panfish expect.
